Since the start of 2021, we have experienced an increase in delays relating to shortages in the availability of building materials and skilled labour. The pandemic, Brexit and shipping disruption have all impacted on our repairs and maintenance services.
This means that building repairs to properties are in many instances taking longer to carry out. Inevitably, this has had an impact on our ability to complete work within usual timeframes and we currently have 40% more work in our schedule than usual.
We are committed to doing all we can to ensure we’re in the best possible position to deliver our repairs and maintenance services and we will continue to work with contractors to find solutions.
