Kids to keep busy? Why not download some of our activity packs? They're full of fun ideas, games and activities to keep your little people out of mischief. We'll be continually updating these so please do check back regularly.

BBC Bitesize are also providing daily lessons for children in Years 1-10 – more information can be found here.

If your kids love their pens, pencils and crayons, why not print off some of our colouring sheets? We have created posters thanking key workers, a pack of colouring sheets aimed at children over 11 and adults, and a pack containing all of our colouring sheets.

Government educational resources

The Government has published a list of online educational resources to help children learn at home. Identified by some of the country's leading educational experts, the websites included offer a wide range of support and resources for students of all ages, including; Maths, English, Science, PE, Wellbeing and Special Education Needs and disabilities.

A nurse has written a book about coronavirus to reassure primary school aged children about the current situation.

Scavenger hunt ideas

Keep the children busy hunting for things around the house or back garden with these scavenger hunt ideas. 

InCommon Buddies activity packs

InCommon are continuing to run their Buddies scheme during lockdown. This means that any Orbit customers that have taken part in this InCommon project, which pairs younger and older people together to bridge the gap between generations, can take part in buddy calls with one of the InCommon team on hand to help support the games and activities.

Some of the resources are available to all, and can be used for children to interact with older friends and relatives over the phone or by video call. These activity pack resources will be updated weekly.
