Coronavirus: Ideas and activities for maintaining wellbeing

We have created a guide to looking after your wellbeing at home, along with a number of resources to keep the kids busy - there are educational and fun activities for them to complete, plus some ideas on how you can use this time together as a family. We have also produced some resources that can be used in communal areas and large buildings - you can find these on our Customer Hub website.

Feeling low, stressed or anxious?

We all struggle with our mental health at times, and we all need support. Talking it through can help and it’s important that you know you are not alone. Your mental health is equally as important as your physical health.

We work with the mental health charity Mind and The Big White Wall. They provide a FREE confidential service offering you support and guidance by phone, text, or digitally. This service is called "Breathing Space".

If you feel that this could be beneficial to you or a close friend or family member then you can:

Want to get out and meet new people?

There are different ways we can help you including keeping in contact with your family or helping you to get out and meet new people.

Our Super Surfer grant can help you get online. We can even teach you how to make video calls so you can talk to and see your family. To apply click here.

If you’d like to get involved with a local club or learn a new activity and meet new people, our Kick-Starting grant can help you get out and about. Our staff will contact you and find out how we can help and what’s available in your area. Click here to apply.

Is your child is having a problem at school?

If exercise were a pill, it would be one of the most cost-effective drugs ever invented! Activity doesn’t need to be particularly intense for you to feel good. Sport England have some ideas for how to keep moving, wherever you are.

Need help with any health costs?
