"When I’m painting I feel happy, relaxed and I can be myself." - Daniel, Orbit customer, Stratford-upon-Avon
After a difficult move to a women’s refuge, customer X struggled to get her life back on track. She found it difficult going for job interviews but knew she needed to pay the bills to support her family.
“I was in the job centre and I saw Orbit’s employment leaflet and thought what have I got to lose?” So she met her employment support coach (ESC) but wasn’t confident, “I’d lost my identity and my family and friends. I told her I couldn’t do it but her motivation was infectious and her encouragement spurred me on.”
